Yuswo also predicts that cities outside Jakarta, such as Surabaya and Semarang, will experience rapid urbanization in the next five years. As the economy grows more evenly, the demand for fitness centers will rise. This shift will lead to a growing number of young workers seeking modern gym facilities, which are still relatively scarce in these areas. This trend creates an opportunity for gym franchises, like K Fitness, to tap into a new market.
The development of infrastructure and stable purchasing power in these cities will generate new demand for healthy lifestyle services. “Considering these factors, the business prospects outside Greater Jakarta remain very promising. Yuswo says, “These areas aren’t saturated with competition, which leaves room for new players to enter and grow.”
